With an international patent, the UMA 17 is the only skiff conceived specifically for the nordic climate and is approved by Canada Transports, it is the fastest boat for urgency interventions in icy water conditions having frazil, candle ice and any kind of ice.
We are proud to present our new-born boat, the UMA 21 which is used to perform rescue missions in ice-free agitated open water. Currently in the approval process by Canada Transports, it has a cabin and many possible configurations.
UMA means «hope» in Inuit language. The UMA boats were conceived to save life in the fastest possible way in any water conditions at a competitive price. The boats were invented by the Lachance family, which possesses an extended expertise in the naval domain, with more than 50 years of experiences spanning 3 generations.
